WOU (0-7) came out on a 3-0 run to start the first match with Hurliman tallying a service ace during the stretch. Kills by Hurliman and Emily Olson kept the Wolves with a 10-9 lead. Seattle Pacific (10-5) answered with an 8-0 run to open a 17-10 lead. Sophie Matlock tallied a kill and a double-block by Bella Maclellan and Hurliman helped WOU make a push down the stretch before SPU claimed the first set at 25-17.

The Wolves moved out to a 7-6 lead in the second set on a kill by Hurliman and bad set by the Falcons. The lead stretched to three at 14-11 on a kill by Sarah Crowell. A Hurliman kill and service ace by Makenzie York extended the lead to 18-14. After a run by SPU put the Falcons in front, a kill by Lauren Smith evened the set at 20. Despite two more kills by Lauren Smith over the final few points, SPU was able to close out the set on a 5-2 run to take the 25-22 second set win.

Maclellan and Hurliman started the third set strong helping WOU to a 7-5 lead. SPU erased the deficit with a 6-0 run to take an 11-7 lead. Following a kill by Lauren Smith to bring WOU to within five, SPU closed on an 8-4 run to take the set at 25-16 and match at 3-0.

Hurliman and Lauren Smith tied for the team lead in kills with nine. Spear recorded 13 digs, Maclellan sent back two blocks and Stanton dished out 26 assists and added two service aces.

A solo block by Maclellan had WOU back to within three at 15-12, but that would be as close as the Wolves would get the rest of the set with SPU closing on a 10-4 run to take the set at 25-16.

SPU came out strong to start the second set going on a 5-0 run. With the lead at 13-6, WOU reeled off the next four points with Maclellan, York, Hurliman and Crowell all tallying points. Kills from Lauren Smith and Crowell helped WOU out to an early 7-6 lead in the third set. A 7-1 run after that for SPU moved the Falcons out to a 13-8 lead. Points from York and Hurliman in the middle of the set had WOU back to within five, but the Falcons kept the pressure on closing the set on an 8-5 run to take the third set at 25-17 and the match at 3-0.

Lauren Smith led WOU with nine kills, Hurliman added eight kills and Crowell with seven. Stanton dished out 27 assists, York had three blocks, with two apiece from Hurliman and Maclellan. Spear posted 17 digs.
