NAMPA, Idaho --- The Western Oregon men's soccer team lost 3-1 to No. 22 Northwest Nazarene on Thursday evening at NNU Soccer Field.
The Wolves (1-10-2 overall, 0-7-1 GNAC), after allowing a goal in teh eighth minute, tied the game 1-1 when
Dauda Woodruff scored his second goal of the season in the 34th minute.
The score remained tied until the 51st minute when the NIghthawks (10-2-2, 6-1-1) scored and they added insurance with another goal in the 79th minute.
WOU was outshot 19-9 by NNU, including 9-4 on shots on goal.
Diego Gonzalez-Ruiz led WOU with three shots while
Alex Grignon took two.
Juan Suarez had six saves for the Wolves.
WOU returns home to take on Saint Martin's 1 p.m. Sunday at the WOU Turf Field.
