SALEM, Oregon --- The Western Oregon women's basketball team outscored Corban 29-13 to turn a seven-point halftime lead into a 23-point advantage that it held onto for a 77-54 victory Friday night at C.E. Jeffers Sports Center.
The Wolves (5-2) went 10-for-15 from the field, including 3-for-5 from 3-point range, while holding Corban (5-5) to 5-for-18 shooting from the field in the quarter to outscore the Warriors by 16 points in the period.
Overall, four WOU players finished in double figures with
Princy Paaluhi-Caulk leading the way with 17 points to go along with five rebounds.
Ana McClave filled the stat sheet, going for a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Kiylynn Dawkins had 14 points and five rebounds and
Kylee Arzner finished with 12 points.
The Wolves play their home opener 4 p.m. Saturday against Willamette.
