LACEY, Wash. --- The Western Oregon women's basketball team outscored Saint Martin's 22-14 in the fourth quarter to pull away for a 77-68 win Saturday at the Marcus Pavilion.
The contest was tied at 66 when
Cali McClave drained a 3-pointer with 1:41 remaining to put the Wolves up for good. WOU went 6-for-6 from the line over the final 20 seconds to put hte game away.
"I'm really happy with how we came back from break," WOU coach
Holli Howard-Carpenter said. "We had a solid week of practice and it really paid off for us today. I thought we competed the entire game, shared the ball well and all 10 people stepped up and contributed."
McClave finished with a team-high 23 points to go along with four steals and four rebounds.
Princy Paaluhi-Caulk had 13 points and eight rebounds while
Erika Glenn had 10 points, five assists and four rebounds.
WOU returns to action Thursday when they host Seattle Pacific.
