Three-Sport Star Arnold Signs With Women’s Basketball

MONMOUTH, Ore. – An All-League athlete in basketball and volleyball, along with finishing in the Top 10 at State in two events in track and field, Gracie Arnold brings a strong background to the Western Oregon University women's basketball team after signing her National Letter of Intent to play for the Wolves for the 2022-23 season.

Gracie"Gracie has a huge upside and we're excited she chose WOU to continue her career. We were really looking for athleticism and versatility at the four position and Gracie brings both of those," head coach Holli Howard-Carpenter said. "She has good footwork and does a great job reading and using counters on the block. She also has a great face up game and can step out and hit the three. With key players graduating, I see a lot of opportunity for Gracie to come in and make a positive impact right away."

Arnold was a three-time First Team All-League player on the basketball court and took home a League Player of the Year honor as well. On the volleyball court, Arnold was a two-time First Team All-League player, while also earning League Player of the Year and First Team All-State.
