SALT LAKE CITY --- The Western Oregon men's soccer team fell on the road at Westminster 2-0 Thursday night in Salt Lake City.
The Wolves (1-1) fell behind in the eighth minute on a Griffins (1-2) goal by Jusus Kjellander. The score remained that way until just before the end of the first half Westminster added another from Loic Fauquembergue to make it 2-0.
The Wolves were outshot in the contest 25-5, including 15-0 on shots on goal.
Juan Suarez was active at keeper for WOU, picking up 13 saves.
Western Oregon returns to action noon Saturday as it takes on Colorado Mesa in Salt Lake City.
