MONMOUTH, Oregon --- The Western Oregon volleyball team fell in four sets to one-loss Northwest Nazarene 3-1 (25-15, 25-27, 25-18, 25-22) Saturday night at the New PE Building.
The Wolves (5-7 overall, 1-3 GNAC) bounced back after dropping the first set to take the second set 27-25 after scorign four of the final five points - including fighting off a set point for the NIghthawks (10-1, 3-0) and getting kills from
Bella MacLellan and
Madison Hornback.
But WOU couldn't find a way to take either the second or third set and dropped the match.
Bailee Hartsook and Hornback led the Wolves with 12 kills apiece while
Delaney Smith had 10.
Laney O'Neil finished with 32 assists to lead the way while
Ally Henry had a team-best 20 digs.
The Wolves return to action next Saturday at Saint Martin's.
