BURNABY, British Columbia --- The Western Oregon men's soccer team had its six-game unbeaten streak snapped at Simon Fraser 3-0 on Sunday at SFU STadium at Terry Fox Field.
The Wolves (7-3-1 overall, 4-1-1 GNAC) and Red Leafs (7-2-2, 4-0-1) now sit tied atop the GNAC standings with 13 points with SFU having played one less contest.
Sunday's matchup was scoreless through the first half before three minutes into the second half when the Red Leafs scored to take the lead. SFU added goals in the 57th minute and the 81st minute to make the final 3-0.
WOU was outshot in the game 21-9, including 8-6 on shots on goal.Â
The Wolves look to bounce back at noon Thursday as they host Northwest Nazarene.
