LACEY, Wash. — The Western Oregon volleyball team lost to Saint Martin's in four sets (22-25, 25-19, 21-25, 23-25) on Saturday night at Marcus Pavilion.

After dropping the first set by three points, WOU (8-9, 2-7) took a 5-0 lead to begin the second set. The Saints (13-7,6-4) responded with a 5-1 run, but the Wolves secured the set, with a Madison Hornback kill. The Saints would go on to win the next two sets, ultimately taking the match.

Hornback led the Wolves in kills with 13, while Bella MacLellan and Chloe Asciutto each contributed nine. Laney O'Neil led the team with 19 assists, and Samantha Darby recorded 15. Chloe Asciutto earned 2.5 blocks and Hornback led the team with 18 digs.

WOU will return to the court Thursday to face off against Northwest Nazarene at NPE Building with a 7 p.m. start.
