VOLLEYBALL | GNAC Standings
  • WOU hosts its Alumni Night on Thursday with festivities for volleyball alums starting at 6 p.m. It's also Abby's House Night as we ask to wear purple to support Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Saturday will be the Wolves' Pink Night.
  • The Wolves enter the week looking to snap a five-match losing streak after falling at Saint Martin's on Saturday in four sets. Madison Hornback led WOU with 13 kills, four aces and 18 digs.
  • The Wolves defeated Northwest Nazarene in five sets on the road on Sept. 30 with Hornback lead the Wolves with 14 kills and Bella MacLellan adding a team season-high 11 blocks. Overall, WOU is 19-26 against NNU since 2000.
  • WOU lost to then No. 18 Central Washington in three on the road on Sept. 28.
  • WOU and it's eight wins is already just a win away from last season's total of nine (9-17) - the most wins for the program since 2016.
MEN'S SOCCER  | GNAC Standings
  • WOU enters this week's road trip at Western Washington and at Saint Martin's coming off a 1-0 win Thursday at home against Northwest Nazarene with Marco Millan scoring with 25 seconds left (assisted by Aidan Brouddus) to give the Wolves the win.
  • Juan Suarez collected six saves for WOU in the contest - helping him earn GNAC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
  • WOU defeated both Western Washington (2-1) and Saint Martin's (2-0) earlier this season in Monmouth.
  • The Wolves start the week tied atop the GNAC standings with Simon Fraser with 16 points.
  • WOU was also named a top team under consideration in Super-Region 4 in the NCAA's initial "rankings" (teams were only named, not put in any order). The Men's Soccer Committee will make final selections Nov. 13.
WOMEN'S SOCCER | GNAC Standings
  • WOU went 0-1-1 last week after a tie 1-1 against No. 22 Seattle Pacific and a 1-0 loss against Montana State Billings - both contests at home.
  • The Wolves defeated Western Washington (Sept. 30) and Simon Fraser (Sept. 28) at home earlier this season - both by a 1-0 score.
  • WOU is starting a four-game stretch on the road to end the season.
  • The Wolves are looking to stay in the top four to qualify for the GNAC postseason as they currently sit in third with 15 points - three points ahead of fourth-place Simon Fraser, four points ahead of MSUB and five points ahead of Northwest Nazarene.
  • This season, the Wolves are 1-0-2 against the top two teams in the conference (Seattle Pacific with 24 points, Western Washington with 21 points)
  • After this week, WOU's final two games are at Central Washington and Northwest Nazarene to end the season.
