ROHNERT PARK, Calif. --- The Western Oregon men's basketball team lost to Stanislaus State 82-77 on Friday night at The Wolves' Den on the campus of Sonoma State.
WOU (1-3) led 70-68 after a
Qiant Myers jumper with 3:55 left in the contest, but would be outscored 14-7 over the final minutes and fell short to SSU (3-1).
Cameron Benzel led the Wolves with 21 points to go along with two blocks and two steals. Myers finished with 15 points, eight assists and six rebounds,
Kris Cook had 15 points an five rebounds,
Jason Gallant had 10 points and five rebounds whileÂ
Carson Frincke had 10 points and five rebounds.
WOU returns to action 7 p.m. Saturday against host Sonoma State.
