AZUSA, Calif. --- The Western Oregon women's basketball team fell to Biola 66-50 on Friday at the Azusa Pacific Thanksgiving Classic at Felix Event Center.
The Wolves (3-3) jumped out to a 23-7 lead after a 3-pointer by
Gretta Baker at the 2:48 mark in the first quarter, but went cold offensively over the final 33 minutes of the contest as Biola (3-2) rallied for the win by outscoring WOU 37-17 in the second half.
Cali McClave led the Wovles with 17 points to go along with four rebounds and three steals.
Triniti Youngblood had 10 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals while
Gretta Baker added six points.
WOU returns to action 4 p.m. Saturday as it takes on host Azusa Pacific.
