SALEM, Ore. --- The Western Oregon women's basketball team held Willamette to 28.6 percent shooting while limiting the Bearcats to just one offensive rebound in a 57-41 victory Saturday at Cone Field House to move the Wolves' win streak to four games.
WOU (7-5) outscored Willamette (5-6) in each quarter - including doubling up the Bearcats in the first half, 28-14. The Wolves also dominated the glass, outrebounding Willamette 44-27 - including 10-1 on offensive rebounding.
Three WOU players finished in double figures with
Cali McClave and
Bella Pedrojetti leading the way with 14 points apiece with McClave adding six rebounds, four assists and two steals and Pedrojetting adding seven rebounds.
Kiylynn Dawkins finished with her third consecutive double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. It was also her sixth-straight game scoring in double figures.
Triniti Youngblood added eight points and three assists while
Ana McClave didn't score, but had 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals.
WOU's turnaround is quick as the Wolves host Lewis & Clark 3 p.m. Sunday at New PE Building.
