MONMOUTH, Ore. --- Princy Paaluhi-Caulk in her final game as Wolf went out with a bang as the senior scored a career-high 28 points to lead the Wolves past Central Washington 83-72 Saturday afternoon at New PE Building.
Paaluhi-Caulk scored 10 of the first 12 points for WOU, had 18 points at the half and helped close out the game at the free throw line - while adding eight rebounds and five assists.
The win gives WOU a 13-13 record to finish the season - the most wins since winning 13 games during the 2002-03 season, 20 years ago.
The Wolves never trailed in the contest against a Central Washington team that is 20-7 on the season and the No. 3 seed in next week's GNAC Championships.
WOU led 16-12 after one, 41-27 at the half and 60-48 at the end of the third - with the lead growing as large at 16 points.
Along with Paaluhi-Caulk's big game,
Cali McClave scored 23 points to go along with three rebounds and three steals,
Kiylynn Dawkins had 14 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double while
Ana McClave had a career-high and a WOU-best this season 15 rebounds.
