BELLINGHAM, Wash. --- The Western Oregon men's basketball team fell on the road to Western Washington 82-68 on Thursday night at WECU Court at Carver Gym.
The Wolves (3-8 overall, 0-3 GNAC) trailed 41-35 at the half before the Vikings (10-3, 2-0) started the second half on a 9-0 run to take a 15-point advantage.

Cameron Benzel with 15:11 left in the game ignited a 10-0 run - capped by a Makaio Murphy at the 13:48 mark to make it 55-52.
However, that's as close as the Wolves would get as the Vikings answered with a 7-0 run to push the lead back to double figures and WOU wouldn't get within six the rest of the way.
Jason Gallant paced the Wolves with 20 points and five assists.
Cameron Benzel went 7-for-9 from the field for 16 points to go along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Kris Cook had 13 points while Murphy finished with 10.
Peter-Kaci Gwananji had a team-high 11 rebounds to go along with seven points.
WOU returns to action 7 p.m. Saturday at Simon Fraser.
