BILLINGS, Mont. --- The Western Oregon women's soccer team moved their shutout streak to a program-record six matches as the Wolves played a scoreless draw at Montana State Billings on Saturday at Yellowjacket Soccer Field.
The Wolves (4-3-8 overall, 4-1-5 GNAC) extended their time without allowing a goal to 617 minutes and 33 seconds - a program record as well as extending their program record to eight draws this season.
The contest didn't see a lot of action in the first half in terms of shot as the Wolves took three while the Yellowjackets (5-6-3, 2-5-3) took just one. In the second half, the Wolves took six shots with four on target while the Yellowjackets took six shots as well - only one on target.
Sophia Pierce finished with two saves for the Wolves.
WOU returns home this week as they host Western Washington on Thursday and Simon Fraser next Saturday.
