BELLINGHAM, Wash. --- Western Oregon volleyball got 18 kills and only one error from Madison Hornback and 16 kills and just four errors from Maela Honma, but fell 3-1 (25-18, 21-25, 25-22, 25-17) to Western Washington at WECU Court at Carver Gym.

The Wolves (13-8, 5-7) evened the match at 1-1 after rallying from an early 4-0 deficit in the second set to lead by as much as nine before winning the second 25-21 - capped with a Hornback kill. However, WOU dropped the next two sets to fall to the Vikings (8-9, 7-4).

To go along wither her 18 kills, Hornback had 11 digs, two aces adn two blocks. Honma also hadded 11 digs for the Wolves. Chloe Asciutto finisehd with seven kills and three blocks while Finley Buman had a team-high four blocks to go along with five kills. Samantha Darby led WOU with 25 assists while Kealani Rosa wasn't far behind with 23.
