MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon women's basketball team lost to Western Washington 63-30 Thursday evening at New PE Building in the Wolves' return to GNAC play after the holiday break.

Enid Vaifanua led WOU (5-6, 1-2) with eight points to go along with six rebounds, three assists and three steals. Selai Niu had six points and nine rebounds while Ciiona Wells finished with five points, five assists and four rebounds.

Olivia Wikstrom led the Vikings (7-5, 2-1) with 20 points and 16 rebounds.

The Wolves return to action 2 p.m. Saturday against Simon Fraser.
