MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon men's basketball team dropped its home game against Central Washington, 93-71, Saturday in the New PE Building.
The Wolves (4-15 overall, 1-8 GNAC) started off the game in lockstep with the Wildcats (13-6, 7-2), entering the first media timeout ahead 11-9 after a 3-point bucket by
Jason Gallant. But two was as far ahead as the Wolves would get after CWU reclaimed the lead on its next basket.
Gallant finished with 25 points - going 10-for-16 from the field - while
Jahville Collins had 15 and a WOU-high three steals.
Mario Williams Jr. added 10 points and five rebounds (three offensive) while as a team the Wolves had 12 steals, matching their season-high set Jan. 18 at Western Washington.
The Wolves now head on the road, taking on Seattle Pacifc 7 p.m. Thursday.Â
