MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon volleyball team bounced back to take games three and four after dropping the first two to Seattle Pacific, but fell in the fifth-and-deciding set to lose 3-2 (25-17, 25-14, 11-25, 24-26, 15-11) on Thursday at the Wolves Athletic Center.
Maela Honma led WOU with 19 kills while she added 17 digs, two blocks and two aces.
Ali Millspaugh had eight kills and two blocks,
Vivian Yount had eight kills and
Chloe Asciutto had seven kills, seven blocks and two aces.
Samantha Darby led the team with 24 assists to go along wit h11 digs,
Kealani Rosa had 14 assists and 10 digs while
Kilinoelehua Helm had a team-high 28 digs.
The Wolves return to action 7 p.m. Saturday against Montana State Billings.
