ELLENSBURG, Wash. --- The Western Oregon volleyball team fell to Central Washington 3-1 (25-20, 21-25, 25-23, 25-20) on Thursday night at Nicholson Arena.

The Wolves after dropping the first set came back to take set two 25-21 thanks to closing out the game on a 4-1 run capped by a Chloe Asciutto ace.

However, WOU was edged in game three 25-23 and fell in game four 25-20.

Maela Honma led the Wolves with 16 kills to go along with two aces. Asciutto finished wit h11 kills, three aces and a block. Samantha Darby had 21 assists while Kealani Rosa added 15 and Kilinoelehua Helm had a team-best 12 digs.

WOU returns to action Saturday at Northwest Nazarene.
