SAN DIEGO, Calif. --- The Western Oregon women's basketball team led briefly in the fourth quarter, but fell to Cal State San Marcos 68-66 on Saturday at the PLNU Thanksgiving Classic at Golden Gymnasium.

Triniti Youngblood free throws made it 58-57 with 6:49 left in the fourth quarter.
The contest was tied at 60 with under four minutes left before back to back buckets by San Marcos gave the Cougars a lead it wouldn't relinquish.
Enid Vaifanua led WOU with 16 points to go along with five rebounds and two assists.
Ciona Wells had 14 points and four rebounds - going 3-for-6 from 3-point range - while Youngblood had 12 points, four rebounds and three assists.
The Wolves open GNAC play 5:15 p.m. Thursday at home against Alaska Fairbanks.
