MONMOUTH, Ore. --- Western Oregon women's soccer head coach
Kacey Bingham is departing to become the next head coach at UNLV.

Bingham in seven seasons with the Wolves went 48-45-30 overall, including 34-25-23 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play. She leaves Monmouth with the best winning percentage in program history at 0.512.

"I'd like to thank Coach Bingham for her hard work and dedication to Western Oregon and our women's soccer program over the past several years," Western Oregon Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics
Randi Lydum said. "She has been a steady leader in our department as well as the GNAC and NCAA II. I'd like to wish Kacey and her family well as they make the move to UNLV."

This past season, Bingham led WOU to its first NCAA Tournament appearance after going 11-5-5 overall and making the GNAC Championships for a program-record third time in a row thanks to an 8-2-4 conference record. The 11 wins is tied for the second most in program history and the most since 2002. The eight GNAC wins is tied for the most in program history.

During Bingham's tenure, the Wolves earned 38 all-conference honors, including two GNAC Defensive Player of the Year honors, a Newcomer of the Year and a Freshman of the Year as well as being named GNAC Coach of the Year in 2019. Six different Wolves earned all-region honors.
