MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon men's basketball team battled tough with Alaska Anchorage, but went cold late and fell 64-56 on Saturday at the Wolves Athletic Center.
The Wolves (3-5 overall, 0-2 GNAC) and Seawolves (8-4, 1-1) were entangled in a matchup where the lead changed hands 13 times and as WOU led 53-51 with 5:11 remaining in the contest. However the Wolves were outscored 13-3 the rest of the way to fall to UAA.
Jadin Penigar led WOU with 13 points, going 3-for-4 from 3-point range. Bryadon Olson came off the bench and scored 12 points in 15 minutes while
O'shen Cazimero had 11 points, five assists and two steals.
The Wolves return to action next Saturday when they host Linfield at 7 p.m.
