ELLENSBURG, Wash. --- The Western Oregon baseball team fell 18-15 and 14-4 to Central Washington on Sunday at CWU Baseball Field.
In game one, the Wolves (3-13 overall, 1-7 GNAC) took a 3-0 into the bottom of the second before the Wildcats (12-7, 7-1) scored nine runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead for good.
Zane Garvey finished 3-for-4 with a double, three RBI and two runs,
John Oleson went 3-for-6 with a double, three RBI and a run,
Grafton Stroup went 3-for-6 with a double, pair of RBI and a run,
Tyler Mohler went 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs, Andre Jackson went 2-for-5 with a double and three runs while
Trey Nelson added a three-run homer.
In game two, WOU led 3-2 heading into the third before CWU scored four in the third and eight in the fourth to pull away for the win.
Jackson finished 2-for-3 with a home run, double, three RBI and two runs while
Zane Garvey went 2-for-3 with a run.
The Wolves are off until they travel to take on George Fox on March 18.
