MONMOUTH, Ore. --- Western Oregon pitcher Devin Bell was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association West All-Region First Team on May 19 after being selected to the  National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association West All-Region Second Team on May 16.

The right-hander from La Grande, Oregon, finished third in D-II in hits allowed per 9 innings (5.26), fifth in WHIP (0.92) and the led GNAC with opponents hitting .174 against him to go along with his 2.39 ERA (26th in D-II). He twice struck out 13 batters in a game this season (first WOU pitcher to do so) and pitched at least seven innings in 7 of 11 starts, went 6.2 or more innings in all eight of his conference starts and went eight innings or more in four starts (including two nine-inning complete games). This season he was twice named NCWBA West Region Pitcher of the Week and three-times named GNAC Pitcher of the Week.
