LOS ANGELES --- The Western Oregon women's soccer team opened its 2025 campaign with a scoreless draw at Cal State Los Angeles on Thursday night at University Stadium.
WOU keeper
Bella Lopez picked up the clean sheet thanks to five saves to keep the contest scoreless. CSULA outshot the Wolves 10-6 in the contest, including 5-0 on shots on goal.
It was a strong result for the Wolves against a Golden Eagles team picked to finish third in the CCAA and that went 9-4-5 overall last season.
WOU returns to action Sunday when it travels to take on MSU Denver - an NCAA Tournament team in 2024 with a 10-4-7 record.
