MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon women's basketball team had its five-game home win streak snapped as it fell to Seattle Pacific 80-58 on Saturday at the Wolves Athletic Center.
The Wolves (9-5 overall, 4-2 GNAC) trailed 40-26 at the half before a pair of
Kylani Rookstool 3-pointers and two
Danyell Booker free throws with 4:52 remaining in the third cut the WOU deficit to five at 44-39.
Unfortunately for WOU, it's as close as it would get to the Falcons (4-10, 1-4) as WOU shot 2-for-12 from the field in the fourth and 32.2 percent overall in the game.
Rookstool paced the Wolves with 26 points, going 6-for-12 from 3-point range.
WOU returns to action next Saturday as it hosts Saint Martin's at 2 p.m.
