INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--The Western Oregon
men's soccer jumped from outside the Top 10 to ninth in the third NCAA Super Region 4 rankings of the season, announced on Monday (Oct. 26) by the national office.
The Wolves are one of two teams listed from the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, with Seattle Pacific checking in at No. 5.
2026 marks a new way to calculate the weekly rankings, which in the past was tabulated by a ratings committee. Now a National Power Index (NPI) will produce the list that eventually will determine what teams qualify for the NCAA postseason. To read more about NPI, click

Ultimately, the conference tournament champions from the PacWest, the GNAC, the RMAC, the Lone Star Conference and the CCAA will gain automatic NCAA tournament berths. At the conclusion of the conference tournaments, ten total teams will qualify for the NCAA national championships from Super-Region 4. That includes five at-large teams from this list.
