PORTLAND, Ore.--Senior defender Kylie Jones had a weekend to remember as a wrap to her Western Oregon soccer career.

Jones was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Defender of the Week after helping to lead the Wolves to pair of shutouts to bring 2026 to a close. Western Oregon tied St. Martin's 0-0 and nipped Montana State Billings 1-0, with Jones providing the assist on WOU's lone weekend goal.

The fourth-year Wolves player spent all 90 minutes of each contest on the field during a season where she started in all 17 matches. The Wolves ended the year on a high note by winning three of their last four matches, with the lone non-win a tie.

Jones is a 5-foot-3 defender from Springfield, Ore. (Thurston HS).
