MONMOUTH, Ore. — The Western Oregon men's basketball team dropped a 74–55 decision to No. 21 Saint Martin's on Saturday afternoon at the Wolves Athletic Center.
The Wolves (8–13, 3–9 GNAC) stayed within striking distance through the first half before Saint Martin's (18–4, 10–2 GNAC) - trailing by just three at the break before the Saints pulled away in the second half.
Carson Frincke led WOU with 19 points, knocking down three 3-pointers, while Noah Ogoli added nine points. Peter-Kaci Gwananji finished with eight points and a team-high eight rebounds, and AB Gilchrist chipped in seven points with six assists.
The Wolves return to action Thursday at Western Washington.
