BILLINGS, Mont. — The Western Oregon women's basketball team fell on the road Saturday afternoon, dropping an 85–48 decision to Montana State Billings at Alterowitz Gymnasium.
The Yellowjackets (14-11, 6-6 GNAC) built separation early, opening the game on a strong first-quarter run and carrying a 26–13 lead after one.
Western Oregon (11-10, 6-7 GNAC) was led by Kylani Rookstool, who finished with 14 points and two rebounds. Ciona Wells added nine points off the bench, while Salma Youngblood and Natalie Brown each scored six points for WOU.
Western Oregon returns to action next Saturday at Saint Martin's.
