MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon softball team had four players named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Softball team.

WOU's Lexi Baumgartner, Brooklyn Schneidt, Abby Stansbury and Victoria Zimmerman earned the honor.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 grade point average, must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing, in their second year at the institution, position players must have competed in 90 percent of the institution's games or started in 66 percent of them and pitchers must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.
