Ben Starks
7-0 | 240 | Jr. | San Clemente, CA | Transfer from Irvine Valley College

Starks arrives in Monmouth from Irvine Valley College - though he sat out last season due to injury. In 2024-25, he appeared in 19 games with six starts - averaging 3.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Starks began his collegiate career at Cal State Northridge in 2022-23.

He played high school ball at San Clemente High School (California) and was a member of a Triton team that advanced to the CIF-Southern Section Division 2A Tournament second round in 2021.

Coach Orton says: "We are excited to welcome Ben to our basketball family.  At 7-foot, he brings a rare combination of size, skill, and presence that immediately impacts the game on both ends of the floor.  As he continues to work his way back from an injury we are optimistic about his recovery and return to the hardwood.   Ben not only possesses the physical gift of being 7-feet, but his work ethic, character, and commitment to continuous improvement are something our coaching staff admires. We look forward to helping him develop as well as return to full health and are thrilled to have him represent our university."
