HONOLULU --- The Western Oregon volleyball team fell to Emmanuel 3-1 (26-24, 25-22, 18-25, 25-21) on Friday at the Hawai'i Challenge at McCabe Gym.
The Wolves (4-3) lost a tough first set after having set point at 24-22 and Emmanuel (3-2) scored the next four points. After dropping set two, WOU took a 16-8 lead in game three and never looked back for a 25-18 win. However, the Wolves dropped game four and the match.
Payton Davis led WOU with 13 kills while
Vivian Yount had 11 and
Kate Markley had 10.
Kealani Rosa had a team-high 21 assists while
Samantha Darby had 20 and
Finley Buman led the way with four blocks.
WOU closes out play at the event 9 p.m. (PT) Saturday against Chaminade.
