PRIOR TO WOU
A 2007 graduate from Lake Oswego High School…Earned three letters each in basketball and football…Won the 4A state basketball title with the Lakers in 2006, playing as a guard…As a junior was named to the All-State honorable mention football team as a tight end…As a senior was named to the All-State second team at TE and defensive end…Also an all-league first-team football selection both his junior and senior years…Played in the Oregon North-South All-Star Game...Had a prep-best game of four catches for 77 yards and a touchdown.

Born in Portland, Ore…A Business major with an emphasis in Sports Management…Desires to become a coach or play beyond college…Parents are Gary and Diana Lavender of Lake Oswego…Dad is a teacher and coach…Kyle has an older sister, Kelsey (24) who plays basketball at University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif.
