An all-conference cornerback at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Tex.,where he also earned all-district honors at corner (1st team) and running back (2nd team)... 39 tackles, four for a loss, with five pass breakups and two picks as a senior... also broke off a 90-yard TD run as a running back.


Personal 
Born January 26... one of Jerry and Kima Evans’ three children... his father played football at Southern, while cousins Corey Webster (LSU, New York Giants) and Tyson Jackson (LSU, Kansas City Chiefs/Atlanta Falcons) starred in college football before playing in the NFL.
