Roommates | Parents / Campers: WOU Volleyball Camp will make every attempt to honor requests as submitted. Assignments are made 1-2 weeks prior to camp and will be distributed at check-in. Priority is given to campers who request each other as their roommate. The only reason we wouldn’t honor a camper’s request is if the preference isn’t in the same camp session or roommate requested is involved in another rooming situation. Campers are 2 per room. If campers do not indicate a roommate request, an age-appropriate roommate will be assigned.
Meals: Meals will be provided by our university dining service. Overnight campers will be served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Commuter campers (Individual Camp) will not be served meals. Team camp commuter fees do not include meals.
Camp Gear: All campers should bring appropriate training gear (shoes, shorts, socks, kneepads, extra t-shirts, water bottle, etc.). Overnight campers are expected to bring their own towels, as well as toilet articles and other articles of clothing as desired. Extra spending money for snacks, WOU bookstore items, etc. may be helpful.
Insurance: All campers must carry their own insurance. Western Oregon University Camps DO NOT require campers to submit a Medical/Physical form to participate in our camps. Western Oregon University Volleyball Camp DOES require each camper to provide Insurance information and report any recent/current injuries, diagnosis or medications/prescriptions to Athletic Trainers at check-in. It is recommended you have a current physical to make sure you are in good physical condition and no injuries or ailments exist prior to camp.
