Named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine All-District IV Academic team…Named to the GNAC All-Academic team…Played in all 11 games, starting five times…Finished eighth on the team with 34 tackles (13 solo)…Had 5.5 tackles for loss…Made one sack…Recorded a season-high seven tackles in the game at Humboldt State…Had at least one tackle in all 11 games.

A 2008 graduate of Fruitland High School (Idaho)…Lettered in football, basketball and track and field…First team all-conference and all-state as a senior at center and defensive line…Played center for the basketball team and was a thrower on the track and field team.

Born in Caldwell, Idaho…Criminal Justice major, Political Science minor…Wants to be in the FBI…Parents are John and Terri Walton of Fruitland…Father is in construction, mother is a teacher…Has one brother, Brandon, and three sisters, Erica, Kara and Heather.
