Brian Harris

Brian Harris begins his 14th season (15th year) as the offensive coordinator for the Wolves in 2025 and his 18th year overall on the staff at WOU.

Harris has coached numerous award-winning players during his time at WOU - including the program's all-time leading rusher Omari Dixon-Land (3,831 yards - 2018-22), all-time leading receiver Paul Revis (274 receptions, 3,998 receiving yards) and the second-leading all-time passer (Ryan Bergman 6,702 yards, 2011-14). He's also coached an NFL draftee in offensive lineman Jason Slowey (2011 NFL Draft, sixth round) and an NFL receiver (Tyrell Williams, signed as free agent in 2015 and played in NFL from 2015-19, '21).

Prior to taking over the offense, Harris spent the previous three seasons as offensive line coach for Western Oregon. During his time working with the line, he coached eight WOU student-athletes to all-conference honors.

Harris came to Monmouth after spending the previous two seasons (2006-07) as Humboldt State's offensive coordinator, where he helped lead the Lumberjacks to a 9-1 record in 2006. Prior to joining the Lumberjacks' staff, Harris spent two years as the offensive coordinator at Eastern Oregon University, helping the Mountaineers achieve their first back-to-back winning seasons in 25 years.

Harris also spent time at Boise State, where he helped guide the Broncos to consecutive undefeated Western Athletic Conference championships while serving as a graduate assistant. During the 2003 season, Boise State led the NCAA Division I in team scoring at 43.0 points per game and was third in team passing efficiency with a 159.76 rating.

Prior to Harris’ arrival at Boise State, he served as running back coach at Portland State University for five years. Harris played his collegiate football for the Vikings where he was a wide receiver from 1994-1998, catching 78 career passes. Harris graduated from Portland State in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies.
