Christian Covyeau is entering his second season with Western Oregon football as an offensive assistant coach.
Covyeau comes to the Wolves from the Naval Academy where he served in recruiting for Navy Football before assuming the role of Football Video Coordinator & Player Personnel Assistant for the Midshipmen. He managed all facets of football technology and assisted with recruiting operations under three-time AAC Coach of the Year, Ken Niumatalolo, and newly named head coach, Brian Newberry.
At Louisville, he served as the Football Technology Graduate Assistant and coordinated the Louisville Football video services and technology under 2019 ACC Coach of the Year, Scott Satterfield.
Covyeau is a graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Col. and earned his Master’s in Sport Administration from the University of Louisville in 2020. Covyeau began his college football career as a quarterback at Fort Lewis.
Covyeau has also worked as a Strategic Partnerships Manager with DiverseNet Inc. (2014-18), as a Player Participation Analyst for Pro Football Focus (2018-19), and as a Scouting Intern with the Hula Bowl All-Star Classic (2021-22).
