Western Oregon University Wolves

The 2015-16 academic year marks the 23rd John Bartlett has been a teacher, coach, and administrator at Western Oregon University. After serving in a variety of roles, Bartlett is now the Director of Facilities and Game Management as he oversees all WOU athletic facilities and gameday events.

Bartlett joined WOU as an assistant coach for John Knight with the Wolves track and field program until 1999. He has also taught in the health and physical education department and spent several seasons as an assistant coach with the football program.

Prior to coming to WOU, Bartlett served as an assistant track, basketball and football coach at Willamette University. In addition to his coaching experience at the collegiate level, he has coached football, cross country, basketball and track and field at several high schools in the Salem area.

A 1976 graduate of Linfield, Bartlett earned a bachelor's degree in health and physical education as he went on to receive his masters in education in 1982 at the college.

John and his wife Katherine reside in Independence.
