Miguel Gonzalez

Miguel Gonzalez is back for his sixth season on the Wolves coaching staff. Since 2012, he has coached the wide receivers. He was previously the running backs coach in 2011 and the assistant defensive backs coach in 2010.

Gonzalez has coached several players who earned athletic honors. The list includes All-GNAC running back Kenneth Haynes in 2011, All-GNAC wide receiver Antoinne Wafer in 2013, All-GNAC wide receiver Tyrell Williams from 2012-2014 (also received All-Region honors in 2014), and wide receiver Paul Revis, who earned All-GNAC, Co-GNAC Freshman of the Year, All-Region, and All-American honors in 2014.

Gonzalez played his final two seasons of collegiate ball for Western Oregon as a defensive back (2008-09). In those two years, this former All-GNAC selection had 56 tackles and six interceptions to go along with 21 passes defended. Previously, Gonzalez was a defensive back at the College of the Siskiyous where he earned Mid-Empire All-Conference honors.

In June 2015, he earned his Masters of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at Western Oregon University.
