Omari Dixon-Land begins his second season as the running backs coach for the Western Oregon football program in 2024.
Dixon-Land jumped right from his record-breaking playing career as a Wolf to coaching as he finished as WOU's all-time leading rusher with 3,831 yards - 659 yards more than any other player in Wolves history. He's also third on the WOU all-time list with 4,225 all-purpose yards, fourth with 31 rushing touchdowns, fifth in yards per attempt (5.4). He rushed for 1,000 yards in a season twice in his career - something that's only happened nine times in WOU history (and only the second person to do it twice in a career). He's also 10th on the single-game rushing list with a 209-yard performance against Simon Fraser in 2021.
