Tyler Nelson begins his second season here at Western Oregon working with receivers after previously working with the running backs in 2015. His previous experience was as an undergraduate assistant for the team from 2012-15, where he worked with quarterbacks and running backs. After starting with the team in spring of 2012, Nelson had taken on numerous roles and finally earned an assistant coach spot in his 5th year with the program. Nelson graduated with a Business degree from WOU and is attending graduate school currently. Prior to WOU, Nelson graduated from Oakridge High School, where he was a three-sport athlete and Iron Man
