Biography

Gio Antonini is a 6-foot-2, 255-pound linebacker/defensive lineman from St. Vincent de Paul High School in Petaluma, Calif. Antonini was a team captain and MVP, while leaving the program as the school record holder in career tackles, tackles for loss and forced fumbles. During his senior season, Antonini compiled 100 total tackles, 52 solo, 26 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, nine quarterback hurries, three passes defended, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He had similar numbers since his sophomore year combining for 185 tackles, 43 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, nine forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries combined during his sophomore and junior seasons. Antonini also helped block for an offense that rushed for 2,522 yards this past season.
