Named second team All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference…Started all 11 games on the offensive line…Helped WOU running backs Ben Kuenzi and DJ Jackson earn All-GNAC honors.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2007)
Played in five games and recorded one tackle.

AS A FRESHMAN (2006)
Played in the opening game of the season at Willamette.

AS A REDSHIRT (2005)
Redshirted 2005 season at WOU.

PRIOR TO WOU
2005 graduate of Nyssa High School...First team All-Wapiti League on the defensive line...Second team as a kicker and offensive tackle...Also earned all-league honors on the basketball court and the track...Played in the East-West Shrine Game.

PERSONAL
Born in Nyssa, Ore…Business major…Parents are Prudencio and Dolores Escobedo of Nyssa…Jose has one brother (Pro) and three sisters (Ceci, Victoria and Marisa)…Pro played football and track at WOU, winning the NCAA Division II national championship in the hammer in 2003 with a school-record toss of 206 feet 4 inches.
