AS A JUNIOR (2016)
Played in all 10 games… Credited with 19 tackles on the season, including 10 solo… Had a season-best four stops at home against Central Washington (Sept. 10)… Had one of his two tackles for losses in that game against the Wildcats, the other a sack occurring at home against Simon Fraser (Oct. 8) for a one-yard loss… Had a single QB hurry in back-to-back games to end the season.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015)
Appeared in one game… Credited with four tackles.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2014)
Played in four games…Had two tackles and one sack against the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology on November 15.

PRIOR TO WOU
Joyner signs with WOU after earning second-team all-state honors on the offensive line following the 2012 season... The 6-3, 275-pound Joyner also excelled on the defensive line where he earned second-team all-league honors... He played in the Sertoma All-Star Game... He also lettered one year in wrestling, one year in basketball and two years in track & field... He was a state qualifier in wrestling and placed third at state in the shot put.

Born in Carson City, Nevada… Majoring in physical education… Hopes to coach football and teach high school… Parents are Sue and Joe.
