Spending the season as a redshirt at WOU, the freshman was named the team’s Scout Team Defense Player of the Week versus Southern Oregon.

PRIOR TO WOU
A 2007 graduate of Newport High School where he lettered in football, track and baseball…A first-team all-Val-Co League pick at linebacker and offensive tackle…Also won the district title in the shot put…Played in the Shrine all-star football game…Had a prep-best game of 18 tackles against state football champion, Siuslaw.

PERSONAL
Born in Camp Pendleton, Calif….An Exercise Science major and Business minor…Desires to become a personal trainer…Parents are Mark and Ruth Ross of Newport…Dad is a corrections officer…Grandfather, George Ross, played football at WOU and pro hockey…Kameron has one brother, Carson (15).
