Spending the season as a redshirt at WOU, the freshman was named the team’s Scout Team Defense Player of the Week versus Cal Poly.

PRIOR TO WOU
Recruited out of high school to Winward Community College where he played football for one season… Helped lead Kahuku High School to back-to-back state football titles…Named the school’s male scholar athlete of the year as a senior…Also played baseball in high school and earned All-Hawaii state honorable mention recognition…Named to the Oahu Interscholastic League Eastern Division first team as an outfielder…Played in Kahuku high school city all-star games in both football and basketball.

Born in Hawaii…Physical Education major…Parents are Richard and Alison of Kahuku…Kyle has one bother, Koty (21), and two sisters, Raena (24) and Reaunte (25).
